Years later, Nokia finally has a proper smart phone and an OS that’s actually drool worthy. N9 is a piece of art as far as industrial design goes. Unfortunately it’s too late when it comes to building an entire ecosystem around it. After all, its no longer about just the OS anymore (which is why it makes sense Nokia, despite of having worked on Meego for so long, still decided to go with WP).
I just hope some of the UI/UX behind the simple/elegant ‘Swipe’ gesture based innovation they pulled off in N9 goes no live on future Nokia+WP experience. It’d be a shame to let that go to waste.
