On a side note: While this may not be obvious to a lot of people Slumdog isn’t even Rahman’s best work, far from it. However it was adequetly complimentary to the film in all the right ways - which is what essentially a soundtrack is. In terms of showcasing a complete reflection of Rahman’s true genius though - this isn’t even among his top 5 scores. I grew up with his music. I should know.
